    SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST

    Lovevery is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer startup cofounded by successful serial entrepreneurs and based in Boise, Idaho. Our customers are parents, and our mission is to help them feel confident they are giving their children meaningful development experiences in the critical early years of life. To achieve that with consistency, Lovevery needs to be operationally excellent. Lovevery is looking for a junior level Supply Chain Specialist to oversee procurement, inventory tracking, and data management within the operations department. You must have accurate and precise attention to detail. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Analyst. The following attributes in a candidate are essential to success in this role:

    • Analytical Intelligence – Lovevery is one of the fastest growing companies in Idaho. We aim to hire analytically strong people in every role, but it is an especially critical quality for the person managing the end-to-end logistics pipeline. You have a strong ability to model cost per unit, and different “what-if” scenarios related to transportation decisions and trade-offs.
    • Communication – This is a connective role with important interfaces across product development, engineering, and sales. Reports that you create will be used by the Lovevery co-founders and external stakeholders from the supply chain to the investor community. You are skilled at structured and complete communication.
    • Project Management – Work ethic, responsiveness, and results orientation matter in every role at Lovevery. With everyone driving hard to achieve the company's goals, it is critical to have strong project planning and structured approaches to big financial decisions like transportation and warehouse costs. You are a natural project manager.

    Accountabilities:

    Retail Operations:

    • Create and Manage requests for: New SKU's, New Suppliers, Cost and Retail pricing Changes
    • Information synthesis across multiple data sources
    • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze operational data by using VLOOKUP's, pivot tables and basic formulas

    Procurement:

    • Coordinate with internal partners at Lovevery to write, update, and finalize PO's
    • Edit PO's based on cross functional team requests to align with business needs
    • Track and manage all PO's after creation to ensure ETD's, ETA's, volumes, and unit costs remain accurate from PO write through delivery
    • Interface and become super-user with company ERP system to cut PO's, own item creation/management, and report across inventory on-order status

    Inventory Tracking:

    • Maintain tracking the reporting of shipments that integrates with real-time updates from our logistics providers
    • Prioritize, expedite, and report on important shipments that are critical to inventory stock
    • Assist in closely tracking priority inbound shipments and PO's through freight forwarder portal
    • Coordinate with warehouse team to track and enter receipts to ensure goods are received within the defined acceptable variance
    • Interface with accounting to assist in receipt and inventory costing inquiries

    Customs:

    • Collaborate with compliance team to ensure tariff codes are created for all products
    • Work with freight forwarder to verify any customs information for inbound shipments
    • Manage tariff information between warehouse and inbound shipping partner, facilitating Canadian orders

    Spare Parts:

    • Manage inventory and procurement to align with company's spare parts strategy
    • Write PO's, track inventory levels, monitor shipments for individual subscriber store items
    • Track and communicate ETA's/SKU's/UPC's/Stock levels to marketing and front-end site team
    • Interface with CEO on ad hoc subscriber store business requests and manage requests through feasibility studies

    Qualifications and attributes:

    • Entry level: 1-2 years' experience
    • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in an analytical major such as accounting, finance, mathematics, physical sciences, etc.
    • Ability to structure large problems and break them down into solvable and explainable components
    • Skilled at building and maintaining spreadsheets and models
    • Naturally curious with a desire to expand their skill set within operations and procurement
    • Ability to accurately aggregate information across multiple data sources in order to problem solve and answer questions
    • Exhibits strong attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize while working across multiple different projects
    • Data Entry/Data Management: 1- year experience (required)
    • Procurement: 1-year experience (preferred)
    • Experience with ERP systems and procurement and inventory modules is preferred
