    SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST

    Lovevery is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer startup cofounded by successful serial entrepreneurs and based in Boise, Idaho. Our customers are parents, and our mission is to help them feel confident they are giving their children meaningful development experiences in the critical early years of life. To achieve that with consistency, Lovevery needs to be operationally excellent. Lovevery is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to oversee warehousing, distribution, and freight management. You must have accurate and precise attention to detail in order to manage daily operations, logistics personnel, and logistics systems. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations. The following attributes in a candidate are essential to success in this role:

    • Analytical Intelligence – Lovevery is one of the fastest growing companies in Idaho. We aim to hire analytically strong people in every role, but it is an especially critical quality for the person managing the end-to-end logistics pipeline. You have a strong ability to model cost per unit, and different “what-if” scenarios related to transportation decisions and trade-offs.
    • Communication – This is a connective role with important interfaces across product development, engineering, and sales. Reports that you are responsible for will be depended on by the Lovevery co-founders and external stakeholders from the supply chain to the investor community. You are skilled at structured and complete communication.
    • Project Management – Work ethic, responsiveness, and results orientation matter in every role at Lovevery. With everyone driving hard to achieve the company's goals, it is critical to have strong project planning and structured approaches to big financial decisions like transportation and warehouse costs. You are a natural project manager.

    Accountabilities:

    Purchase Order and Inventory Management:

    • Coordinate with other functional partners at Lovevery to write, update, and finalize PO's
    • Own SKU making and the required communication with product and engineering to control for product refreshes, new releases, and spare parts
    • Monitor sales trends and inventory forecasts to inform PO flow decision making
    • Utilize vendor platforms to retrieve and track critical information that influences in-stock decisions, spare parts strategy, transport mode options, and product costing

    Vendor Relationship Management:

    • Maintain long-lasting business relationships with key 3rd party logistics providers
    • Select carriers and third-party services to execute on Lovevery's goal of being a global company
    • Lead negotiations, third party contracts, and transportation rates
    • Build, review, and maintain tracking reporting of shipments that integrates with real-time updates from our logistics providers

    Forward and Reverse Logistics Management:

    • Lead setup of both domestic and international warehouses on an as needed basis
    • Establish a reverse logistics process to support customer/field returns to support spare parts inventory
    • Monitor in-transit inventory from Asia to North America to avoid stockouts
    • Determine needs for expansion of routes and schedules to include EMEA, APAC, and NA
    • Partner with the quality team to ensure quality inspections happen to all applicable inbound freight
    • Develop and document best practices to support a growing business
    • Analyze the financial impact of logistics changes, routing, shipping modes, etc.
    • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes

    Special Projects:

    • Build a quarterly business review framework to review with our 3PL partners
    • Build, and maintain a metrics (KPI) dashboard to review delivery status, on-time delivery %, and other key logistics metrics to support a growing toy business
    • Interface with the warehouse team to develop specialized workflow processes

    Qualifications and attributes:

    • 2 or more years experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management
    • Logistics experience with international and domestic shipments; reverse logistics a plus
    • Import and export experience with strong understanding of INCOTERMS and trade compliance
    • Skilled at building and maintaining spreadsheets and models
    • Deep desire to scale workflow and find opportunities for task automation
    • Ability to synthesize data and make business driving recommendations to senior leaders
    • Experience with vendor/supplier management and negotiation
    • BS in Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain
    • Please provide GPA and other indicators of academic performance in your resume; preference for candidates who attended rigorous academic programs
    • APICS “Certified Supply Chain Professional" (CSCP) or “Certified in Production and Inventory Management" (CPIM) or equivalent is a plus
    • Willingness to travel to Asia at least twice a year
