Job Title: Low Voltage Sales Estimator

Position Overview: This role is responsible for preparing correct and competitive estimates for low voltage systems across commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

• Experience with Security, Cameras, Access Control, Fire, Data and Video a plus

• A strong understanding of low-voltage design and installation practices

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope documents to determine low-voltage requirements

• Perform material and labor takeoffs for Low Voltage Systems

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals

• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing

• Take part in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed

• Aid in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities : Include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Must pass background check and have a valid driver's license
• Advanced customer service and relationship building skills
• Strong multi-tasking skills with high level attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility and adaptability to change
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability in standard office programs is important
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and interpret Construction drawing and specifications
• 2+ years of experience in estimating low voltage systems
• Knowledge of Alarm.com, Salto Systems, Lenel, and DW Security platforms preferred, but not needed
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and construction practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
