    Low-Voltage Sales Hunter (Remote – DMV-Based)

    Location: Remote (DMV area preferred; selling across the U.S. with some international work)
    Compensation: Base + Commission (Target OTE: $150K–$200K)
    Travel: Limited; occasional travel for key customer meetings

    Role Summary

    We’re supporting a growing technology services provider that delivers low-voltage, IT infrastructure, structured cabling, and security/surveillance solutions. They are building out their sales function and are looking for a true hunter who can open doors, build pipeline from scratch, and close new business.

    You’ll focus on winning multi-site infrastructure and technology projects while being backed by an experienced technical and delivery team. Your primary job: bring relationships, create opportunities, and drive revenue.

    What You’ll Do

    New Business & Pipeline Generation

    • Identify, target, and win new customers in low-voltage, IT infrastructure, and structured cabling.

    • Use your existing network to generate immediate opportunities.

    • Consistently prospect through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic campaigns.

    • Build and manage a healthy, predictable sales pipeline.

    Account Development & Expansion

    • Grow accounts across the U.S., with occasional opportunities in international markets.

    • Develop relationships with decision-makers and executive stakeholders.

    • Support multi-site or large-scale rollouts by aligning customer needs with internal delivery capabilities.

    • Maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat and follow-on business.

    Sales Process & Execution

    • Lead discovery calls, solution discussions, and proposal reviews.

    • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.

    • Partner closely with internal technical/delivery teams who handle design, engineering, and implementation so you can stay focused on selling.

    Ideal Background

    • Proven experience selling low-voltage solutions, structured cabling, IT infrastructure, or surveillance/security systems.

    • A hunter mindset: comfortable without heavy inbound support and able to self-generate pipeline.

    • Existing relationships with end clients or decision-makers in relevant industries (commercial, industrial, technology, etc.).

    • Experience working on multi-site or large-scale technology/infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.

    • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of autonomy.

    • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to confidently engage senior stakeholders.

    Compensation & Structure

    • Base salary + commission, targeting a total annual compensation in the $150K–$200K range for strong performers.

    • Commission is based on gross profit (GP) from your deals, with an expected rate around 10% of GP (structure may be tailored based on experience and performance).

    • Planned mix is roughly 50% base / 50% commission, with flexibility for top talent.

    • No cap on commission for high performers.
