    Company: Communication Network Corporation (CNC) - A Birmingham, AL-based Systems Integration Company specializing in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of various low voltage systems across the Southeast.

    Location: Birmingham, AL (Travel Required)

    Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

    Position Summary:

    CNC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Low Voltage Systems Integrator to join our team. This position involves the integration, maintenance, and servicing of various low voltage systems, including fiber, Ethernet cabling, camera systems, access control systems, intrusion systems, fire alarm systems, HVAC controls, network switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and AV systems. As a Low Voltage Systems Integrator at CNC, you will contribute to the seamless functioning of our clients' various systems while fostering teamwork and cooperation within the workplace.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Integrate, label, terminate, and test all types of low voltage cable.
    • Execute comm room buildouts and manage system installations.
    • Install and configure access control devices, intrusion devices, IP cameras, and network components.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Ethernet, access control, intrusion, AV, and network systems.
    • Collaborate with direct supervisors to ensure quality, performance, and efficiency standards are met.
    • Travel to various client sites (typically Sunday afternoon to Thursday evening), with paid travel time, lodging, and per diem included.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Experience in low voltage systems integration is preferred but not required.
    • Strong teamwork, organization, and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
    • Proficient in using basic hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.
    • Comfortable working at heights up to 50 feet and lifting 60 lbs.
    • Willingness to travel during weekdays with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
