    About St. David’s School

St. David’s is led by a Christian faculty and staff who embrace a Biblical vision of personhood. We teach, coach, and mentor from a thoroughly Christian framework—drawing on wisdom, history, culture, and the wonders of the created world—to challenge, inspire, delight, and develop students in heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Though not a church, we are a worshipping community in thought, word, and deed. We seek to follow the Way of Christ with hospitality and humility, striving—imperfectly but sincerely—to be a blessing to our neighbors in Raleigh and beyond.

The Christian Identity of Our Faculty and Staff

As Christians, the faculty and staff of St. David’s School are disciples of Christ. They have been baptized into new life, are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and affirm the core tenets of the faith as summarized in the Nicene Creed. They are committed to loving the Lord with their whole being, loving their neighbors as themselves, and growing continually to become more like Christ.

Candidates should be able to wholeheartedly support, participate in, and contribute to this mission-driven Christian community.
