Summary: Maintains the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and beach areas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains the cleanliness of dining and beach areas
Removes dishes, utensils, glassware and paper products from tables and dining areas. Delivers dishes and utensils to dishwasher for cleaning. Empties food and paper waste to trash
Arranges table and chairs upon guest’s departure
Sweeps around and under each table/chair upon guest departure. Mop when necessary
Cleans high chairs and booster seats. Removes seats from tables when not in use
Cleans hand rails and steps on a regular basis. Ensures areas are free of hazards
Empties trash receptacles in dining, break and beach areas
Removes trash and debris from beach area on a regular basis
Cleans and dry beach tables at regular intervals
Cleans doors, walls, base boards, etc. High & low dusts on a regular basis
Ensures tools (buss tubes, towels, brooms, dust pans, mops, etc) are clean before and after use
Maintains the cleanliness of work stations and designated storage areas
Assists management and maintenance with facility related cleaning/repair projects
Completes all opening, running and closing duties as assigned
Assists in training new employees within the department in accordance with company standards
Communicates effectively with management and co-workers
Alerts managers and/or co-workers to spills and other hazardous conditions
Alerts Server when tables are in need of attention
Follows proper lifting and carrying techniques. Uses equipment when necessary and/or enlists the help of others to lift/transport product and equipment
Other duties in connection with organizational effectiveness as assigned by above supervisory staff
