    Summary: Responsible for guest satisfaction through timely and hospitable service of guests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Guest Relations• Maintains high knowledge regarding company’s products, availability, specials, services offered, current & upcoming events, etc; effectively communicates such to guests• Establishes and maintains relationship with guests to ensure customer satisfaction• Greets and welcomes guests with introduction• Communicates menu offerings including specials and drinks• Takes food and beverage orders• Screens guest identification in accordance with alcohol sale and consumption guidelines• Explains food and beverage ingredients and preparation • Makes menu recommendations in relation to guest preferences• Inputs guest orders through computerized POS system accurately and in a timely manner. • Practices proper cash handling procedures by addressing the register/point-of-sale system after every transaction, collecting payment from guests and processing according to prescribed check-out procedures• Communicates allergy alerts and special order requests with kitchen staff• Delivers food and beverage items to appropriate table and guests• Ascertains guest satisfaction with food/beverage orders• Corrects incomplete and/or undesired food/beverage orders• Replenishes beverages, condiments, and other items as needed• Resolves guest complaints and notify management of issues as they arise• Assists in clearing and cleaning tables after guests have been served• Other duties in connection with organizational effectiveness as assigned by above supervisory staffPreparation and Shift Duties• Preps food items and condiments, as instructed, replenish items as needed• Stocks equipment and supplies as necessary• Maintains cleanliness of guest areas and work areas, throughout shift• Completes all opening, running and closing duties as assigned• Assists in training new employees within the department in accordance with company standards• Obtains sales report for shift and check-out in accordance with procedure• Reports tips accurately for each shift• Other duties in connection with organizational effectiveness as assigned by above supervisory staffAdditional Duties & Responsibilities:• Demonstrates core values of the company• Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Manual & by the department’s management• Participates in continuing education and training to further knowledge base and career potential• Cooperates with co-workers and management in an effort to continuously maintain organizational effectiveness • Attends meetings and training sessions as designated• Complies with uniform standards (i.e. Crew Shirt, name tag and neat appearance)• Maintains regular availability, attendance and punctuality in accordance with weekly schedule & employment status• Other duties in connection with organizational effectiveness as assigned by above supervisory staffSupervisory Responsibilities: N/ACustomer Service: Provides exceptional customer service to each guest on every occasion in order to achieve customer satisfaction. Ability to complete mathematical applications (i.e. add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate percentages, etc), knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients and preparation techniques. Ability to remember and recall order information and guest attributes and preferencesCommunication & Other Skills:Ability to speak and in an audible voice. Ability to understand written and oral instructions. Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with diverse staff members and customers. Maintains a polite, courteous, and pleasant demeanor. Displays exceptional customer service skills at all times.Physical & Mental Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a staff member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regular attendance is required. Routine completion of tasks for periods up to 8 hours or longer includes: Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift objects up to thirty pounds; independently or with the assistance of equipment and/or others. Frequent walking and standing in excess of 5 hours per shift. Ability to carry and balance objects while walking. Ability to work under stressful conditions; in a fast paced, often crowded and noisy environment; subject to varying weather conditions (i.e. heat, cold, rain, etc). Ability to multitask, prioritize and efficiently monitor various guests simultaneously in order to provide assistance.

    Business demand often requires long work hours, and at times short notice to report to work. Schedules require workers to work nights, weekends and holidays.
