WHY WORK AT LUTEK

 We have a unique opening to add one person to our sales team to focus on a niche we want to develop – manufacturing roller shades only under annual supply agreements. As Business Development Leader, you will contribute to the success of the company by generating new contacts and opportunities in this new niche sufficient to develop a sales pipeline in support of attaining quota.

We are a boutique manufacturing and installation business which strives for a work/life balance, while valuing the contributions of our employees. We are a family owned and growing window treatment provider based in Arvada, CO. Our business partners and customers include interior designers, architects, and trade professionals and we offer everything from measuring, consulting, installation, sales and fabrication of custom draperies, shades, and specialty items. We fabricate our products at our 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. We source our materials and parts both domestically and internationally.

You will have the opportunity to learn our business and work closely with the owner of the business in the development of this new niche.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEADER

 You will be responsible for: (i) developing our go-to-market strategy for this new niche, (ii) analyzing the market for the most attractive potential customers and (iii) creating opportunities to pitch to new prospects. More details about the responsibilities are:

·         Orchestrating sales of the company’s product.

·         Prepare any action plans needed to ensure quota achievement.

·         Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to solve customer issues.

·         Constantly establish new and build upon existing relationships within the roller shades industry.

·         Responsible for generating in excess of $3 million per year in sales.

·         Conduct quarterly business reviews with key customers.

PAY DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Annual salary of $100,000 + depending on experience

Quarterly commission plan, uncapped

Participation in company’s long-term incentive plan

REQUIREMENTS – WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 ·         Someone who has the ability to establish credibility and build relationships with external parties.

·         The right candidate will have a proven record of developing and winning new roller shade business and should be extremely comfortable networking, prospecting and cold calling.

·         The right candidate should possess a strong suite of industry relationships.

·         Preferred candidates to have a bachelor’s degree.

·         Preferred 5 years’ experience in roller shades industry.

·         Comfortable multi-tasking on a daily basis to meet objectives.

·         Ability to pass a drug test.
