We are looking for a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Automotive Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive issues. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, identifying and repairing complex mechanical problems, and providing exceptional customer service. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and to be on a team.

Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes, replace oil and air filters, and top off all vehicle fluids, including transmission, brake, and power steering fluids.
Inspect, rotate, balance, mount, and repair tires on a variety of vehicles, ensuring proper inflation and tread safety.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, checking for leaks, worn components, and recommending additional services as needed.
Lubricate moving parts and wheel bearings to prevent premature wear and ensure optimal performance.
Replace wiper blades, car batteries, and light bulbs as required.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings or delays to service advisors or customers.
Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Provide excellent customer service, explaining services performed and answering questions regarding vehicle maintenance.
Assist with inventory management and shop maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Automotive Technician
Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair techniques
Tools to perform a multitude of repairs
Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Proficiency in vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire services, and brake inspections
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
-Applicants must have a passion for learning and developing their skillset
Preferred
Completion of a lube technician or automotive service program is preferred but not required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Prior experience in automotive maintenance or tire service is preferred
Work Environment:
Shop environment with exposure to automotive fluids, tools, and equipment.
May require occasional outdoor work or roadside assistance in varying weather conditions.
Fast-paced, team-oriented setting with a focus on efficiency and safety.
Opportunities for Advancement: Lube and Tire Technicians may advance to roles such as Automotive Technician, Shop Foreman or Service Advisor with experience and additional training.
