Lubrication Specialties, Inc. (LSI) is a rapidly growing Oil and Additive company dedicated to its family-oriented, small-town roots. We pride ourselves on being innovative, agile, and fast-paced. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to develop long-term customer relationships and oversee sales initiatives for our LSI Chemical division.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
Support a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
Develop positive relationships with clients.
Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs.
Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers promptly.
Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
Prepare appropriate marketing material and presentations.
Support trade shows and conference events.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to effectively present information.
Ability to respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public in a timely manner.
Impeccable communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Advanced level of knowledge with Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, email, CRM software, familiarity with social media platforms, with an emphasis on LinkedIn.
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
Strong networking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication, or related field is required.
2-4 years of professional experience.
Proven experience as an Inside Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive preferred.

Must possess a valid driver’s license.
