    Job Description

    JOB PURPOSE: Social Media Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales.

    SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: 

    • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
    • Define most important social media KPIs
    • Manage and oversee social media content
    • Measure the success of every social media campaign
    • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
    • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer
    • Work with designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
    • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
    • Communicate with industry professionals and influencer's via social media to create a strong network

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Utilize social media for brand awareness and impressions
    • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
    • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
    • Good understanding of social media KPIs
    • Familiarity with web design and publishing
    • Excellent multitasking skills
    • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
    • Team player
    • Good time-management skills
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills
    • Efficient with writing and managing content development and publishing the content.
    • Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress.
    • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce error-free communications and other materials are required.
    • Familiarity with web design and publishing
    • Advanced editing and proofreading skills are essential.
    • Solid understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

    EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    • BS degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline required
    • 3 or more years of Social Media experience, preferably in the medical, health industry
