    Job Description

    Do you enjoy approaching people and starting up a conversation? Do you have sales experience? Have a passion for helping people hear better?  Then you will enjoy working at Hearing Lab Technology!

    HLT Apprentice Program combines the on-the-job training with academic instruction for those who would like to become a Hearing Instrument Specialist. The academic instruction is done online for 5 weeks with weekly practical evaluations that include industry specific skills like anatomy and physiology of the ear, audiometric testing, fitting and servicing hearing aids, and patient and family education. The practical experience is learned on the job while working in the Hearing Aid Center.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

     

    •  

      • Some college credits in science and math, preferred

      • Interest in Audiology, ear anatomy and hearing aid technology

      • Previous sales experience

      • Good communication and people skills

      • Be confident and professional

      • Be able to work multiple hours while standing

      • Be able to travel within 10 to 15 miles radius between Hearing Aid Centers

      • Work hours Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 6pm

      • Highly energetic and outgoing

      • Desire to help people hear better

      • Must be able to relocate within the same state that you obtain trainee license
