WHO YOU ARE: Someone with a commercial lending or financial background who wants to be part of a dynamic underwriting team of seasoned professionals. We provide commercial underwriting, documentation and servicing for our partner members. Learn more about us here: www.lucro.org ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Underwriting business loan requests for all types of commercial lending. We analyze financial data and provide a recommendation for the credit decision including information to support the recommendation in a standardized format utilizing Excel worksheets and templates.

REQUIREMENTS

NECESSARY SKILLS: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ability to work in a technology-driven environment; ability to work in a team environment; ability to work independently; detail-oriented; excellent communicator (written and verbal); interested in learning and developing; able to advocate and ask questions to facilitate learning. QUALIFICATIONS: Education equivalent to a college degree in business administration, finance or accounting is required. Five or more years of similar or related experience is required for full time positions unless hired to train. Ability to learn to analyze and understand financial statements including those contained in tax forms. Understanding business credit structure is a plus. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial statement reporting is also a plus. Lucro is a drug free workplace.
