A single site, 200 seat, privately owned restaurant in Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking an Executive Chef. Our company's objective is to provide our customers with an outstanding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the kitchen produces consistently high quality food in a timely manner. We can get quite busy, so we need to have a high quality, high volume production operation.
- Manage all Kitchen staff. This includes maintaining appropriate levels of qualified staff (e.g., hiring, managing/coaching, developing, and releasing staff that do not meet our standards.
- Refine the menu and develop new appealing dishes that delight customers.
- Manage food quality, costs and inventory.
- Keep the operation very sanitary and pass all health inspections.
- Participate in and contribute to the overall management team.
- Meet with potential customers to plan and price out the food menu for catering events
Experience:
- 10 years working in the industry, 5 years as a head or Executive Chef
- Culinary school
