    Position Description

    The Business Acquisition Analyst will support the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), International Program Directorate (IPD), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Division.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide input and recommendations on the development of FMS business processes in support of U.S.C. Title 22 Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance efforts.
    • Identifying business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports that are developed from research, documentation, development, and/or revision.
    • Create and/or update International Program Office’s internal standard operating procedures (SOP) and internal business process to include flow charts.
    • Create and/or update Business Case Analysis (BCA) using government provided information and templates.
    • Develop, Maintain, and upgrade program Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs) using Government provided information.
    • Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress.
    • Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future compliance efforts projects.
    • Recommend process changes or the development of automated tools to increase effectiveness and data accuracy.
    • Provide recommendations for the development, recording, and tracking of metrics.
    • Support scheduled program management reviews and other meetings to include the creating of agendas, presentations, and capture of meeting minutes.
    • Create direct channels of communication to management staff.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field and twelve to fifteen years of related progressive professional work experience.
    • Experience supporting Department of Defense Foreign Military Sales (USA, USMC, etc.) is required.
    • An understanding of U.S.C. Title 22 Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance efforts.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) to include formatting and editing of documents.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, and TEAMS preferred.

    Education/Certification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field and twelve to fifteen years of related progressive professional work experience.
    • Experience supporting Department of Defense Foreign Military Sales (USA, USMC, etc.) is required. An understanding of U.S.C. Title 22 Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance efforts

    Travel for this position is not anticipated, but may be required, less than 5%.
