Experienced Data Warehouse developer with strong SQL and healthcare experience. Experience with Cerner EDW a big plus. 

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Sr Data Warehouse Engineer with Healthcare experience. Long term contract, primarily remote with occasional on-site required. Understand and translate business requirements into Data Warehouse solutions Create data models and designs to meet specific business needs that require sourcing data from multiple source systems Establish and communicate new concepts, techniques, best practices and technology assistance. Enhance and maintain the data architecture to increase the robustness, performance, and scalability of systems. Work with technical team to ensure optimal end user performance Establish regular overall system performance assessment processes and action plans. Provide direction for the design and development of the data layers including review of ETL requirements. Responsible for the development of logical data models and physical data base designs that need to interact with Business Intelligence tools like Cognos Document code and processes for distribution to a diverse range of stakeholders. Capable of leading team design sessions and facilitating decisions. Experience leveraging ETL tools such as Informatica to solve complex use cases. Document design using industry standard artifacts for documenting data warehouse designs. 5+ years of experience in database development including analyzing, designing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing sql-based solutions. 3-5 years of experience in data warehousing, data architecture, data modeling, ETL, enterprise and business information system architectures, and system engineering 3-5 years of experience architecting/developing in Cloud-based data warehousing environments. Hands on experience with set based operations, analytic functions, and query hints Experience with data warehouse design techniques like slow changing dimensions, partitioning and indexing strategies. Experience in creating and maintaining end-to-end data architectures Medicaid or other healthcare or claims processing experience Informatica (IICS) ETL and Snowflake Data Warehousing experience Experience working with highly sensitive health care information and familiar with HIPAA and other data privacy controls. Cloud database platform experience such as Snowflake. Experience working with a large, multi-terabyte data warehouse Experience with system administration, database administration, storage architectures, backup & recovery and networking BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience Exceptional Oracle SQL skills.
