    Our law firm seeks an organized, self-starter to join our team as a legal case manager and work alongside attorneys to achieve our clients’ goals. Applicants must show 3 - 5 years of experience managing family law cases in the state of Georgia. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and motivated to optimize the client experience. Our ideal applicant will have experience in case management and be skilled at drafting documents and conducting legal research. The position is 95% remote and 5% in the office. Competitive compensation is available with benefits. Responsibilities: • Make sure cases move fluidly and that tasks are completed timely by legal support • Manage, update, and organize all case files and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies • Perform legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, medical records, social security, and medical providers • Consult with attorneys and provide recommendations with regard to cost and time-effective ways to accomplish the client’s goals • Collaborate with outside vendors, staff, and attorneys, to manage the law firm’s caseload, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met Qualifications: • Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once • A 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred - High school diploma is required • Exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are needed • Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software • 3 to 5 years of experience managing family law cases from beginning to end is required • Family law experience is required • Probate and/or estate planning experience is preferred • Being a notary is a HUGE plus Compensation: $20 - $26 hourly
