Fast growing restaurant group in Houston, TX seeking detail-oriented Staff Accountant with a high level of integrity and quality of standards as well as a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail necessary to maintain well-organized accounting records.
SAN ANTONIO AND HOUSTON, TX AREAS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and update Daily Sales Reports
Actively participate in the Month-End Close process, to include Adjusting Journal Entries, Accruals, Inventory, & Payroll Entries
Preparation of Petty Cash Bank Reconciliations
Research and record Credit & Debit Card Expenses into the General Ledger
Maintain & manage various Account Analysis Reports in MS Excel
Sales Tax preparation
Perform miscellaneous Data Entry, Clerical & Filing roles
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS or Associates Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 1-3 years of financial reporting experience
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to interact with various levels within an organization
Strong Excel skills
