    Job Description

    High End Decorative Lighting Manufacturer looking for a Lighting Sales & Project Manager Professional. If you have experience in hospitality and/or residential furniture and lighting sales and are interested in joining a dynamic, fast paced, environment and working on some of the most notable architectural projects in the U.S. and abroad, we want you to join our team! Candidate should be a highly motivated team player with a great work ethic and a can-do spirit. The right person will also be a good communicator with excellent organizational skills. Our team members often have backgrounds in the following: interior design, product design, showroom sales, industrial design, lighting design and architecture. Previous experience in the Hospitality, Residential, Resort and Casino Industries is helpful. Key responsibilities include:

    • Work with clients to develop design concepts
    • Provide price quotes and manufacturer's specification information to clients
    • Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors
    • Source and research materials, finishes, and design concepts
    • Organize, coordinate and control projects from receipt of order through shipping and installation
    • Define customer requirements and ensure on time/on budget completion
    • Handle and resolve complex customer requests
    • Develop project timelines and track key dates accordingly
    • Cross department coordination of essential deadlines, project commitments and quality requirements
    • Actively seek solutions and raise any concerns that may affect the viability of projects
    • Source and research materials, finishes and construction techniques
    • Negotiate and problem solve with internal and external vendors and fabricators
    • Maintain updated project database and lists with task tracking
    • Coordinate shipping and onsite installation Key Qualifications include:
    • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
    • Excellent communication skills, writing and speaking
    • Highly Organized - able to plan ahead and have an overview of every project
    • Team player with a dedicated work ethic that is high on energy, low on drama.
    • An engaging personality that builds brand interest, trust and loyalty
    • Adaptability - ability to prioritize and wear many hats
    • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
    • Able to work evenings and weekends when required - occasional travel required.
    • A true self -starter that naturally inspires their team to join in to make every project a success
    • Excellent computer skills including, QuickBooks, MS Teams, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, Illustrator, (AutoCAD is a plus)
    • Basecamp / Asana / Zoho Experience is a huge plus.
