    Job Description

    Luth Research seeks a Project Manager that is responsible for supervising assigned projects to managing the client communication from initial contract to final deliverable and closing of the project while generating improved work-flow, user experiences, accuracy, efficient communication, growth, and scalability while increasing revenue, profitability, client satisfaction, and repeat business. The Project Manager will be working in a fast paced and demanding environment and will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Online Research.     ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (What is done and why in order of importance)

    • Organize and set up projects to be programmed according to client specifications and timelines to ensure proper scheduling, improved work-flow, client satisfaction, and repeat business resulting in profitability.
    • Drive Kick-Off call, organize, and set up projects to be programmed according to client specifications and timelines to ensure proper scheduling to deliver quality data within timeline specified generating client satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Schedule Survey and Data Quality Control procedures for all client deliverables to ensure client satisfaction, quality standards, and error-free projects generating repeat business and better work-flow/communication.
    • Receive, analyze, format, and manage sample for maximum availability and efficiency on all projects Including outsourcing the minimum needed with trusted vendors to complete projects for maximum profitability client satisfaction, and repeat business.
    • Send daily updates and status reports for all projects, maintaining proactive ongoing communication with the client on a project-by-project basis in order to improve efficient communication and work-flow while maintaining client satisfaction and generating repeat business.
    • Utilize creative thinking and problem solving skills to complete jobs for client satisfaction ensuring repeat business and increased revenue.
    • Proactively identify and communicate red flags to solve project related problems which will improve efficiency and communication between staff members.
    • Complete and post accurate daily time sheets to ensure all costs are included for measurements and project information ensuring better communication and work-flow.
    • Provide wrap up information for billings to ensure speedy client payments in order to maintain good cash flow (billings within 4 days of project close) improving client satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Actively pursue knowledge of the survey research industry, Luth Research, and other relevant software packages in order to come up with creative ideas to be competitive within the industry.
    • Act as liaison with sales team to provide insight on areas of possible growth and development for clients in order to ensure continued client satisfaction and repeat business during the entire experience with Luth Research.
    • Any other tasks and projects assigned by executive management.

    • ACCESSIBILITY: Must be able to access and function within areas key to productivity. Adequate manual dexterity to operate assigned and shared office equipment. Ability to travel on periodic overnight and extended stays, and work extended hours when necessary.
    • COMMUNICATIONS: Must speak clearly and fluently to communicate on a wide range of topics. Above average reading comprehension, and grammatically correct written communication skills. Must have the ability to understand and respond intelligently to business correspondence. Interpersonal skills as needed to persuade, manage conflict, debate and negotiate. Response to pressure should be calm and reasonable.
    • JUDGMENT: Comprehension of job requirements and procedures. Can initiate and perform work assignments under minimal supervision that may be broad, varied, and complex in nature. Employee must have the ability to use educated and intuitive judgment to make decisions.
    • FLEXIBILITY: Must be able to work in a shifting environment with ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.
    • ANALYSIS: Mathematical aptitude; use of numeric calculations for accuracy of reports and tasks. 
    • ORGANIZATION: Organizational and time management skills sufficient to plan and accomplish assigned goals.
    • LOGIC: Deductive reasoning ability to enable the appropriate application of general concepts to specific situations.  Able to translate theory into business practices. Employee must apply experience, skills and information to identify problems and plan strategic resolutions.
    • WORK ETHICS:  Must be willing to work hard, be dependable and responsible, possess a positive attitude and maintain a sense of honesty and integrity.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    • Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree or related job experience.
    • Strong project and task management skills.
    • Prior Experience Managing Projects, Timelines and clients.
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to concentrate on detailed work for significant amounts of time while responding appropriately to interruptions.
    • Proven ability to deliver in a high pressure environment.             
    • Demonstrated skills and proactively identifying and solving problems.
    • Ability to demonstrate positive attitude in a demanding work environment.
    • Existing knowledge of HTML/XHTML and an understanding of basic web and programming technologies.
    • Experience with Market Research and/or Surveys is a plus.
    • Experience with Python is a plus.
    • Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL is a plus.
    • Flexibility in hours worked including some evening and weekend hours.
