Job Description
The Office Assistant will organize paperwork according to an efficient filing system and digitalize all important documents. We are seeking for someone who is proficient in typing, organized, and has basic software and office-work experience.
Responsibilities:
Handle a multi-line phone system with proper etiquette.
Answer questions from visitors, students and faculty.
Acts as point of contact for parent inquiries and general visitors.
Develop systems to effectively organize information and provides it to others as needed.
Completes student transfer, registration, and other forms and form letters.
Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail and school correspondence.
May assist in maintaining and monitoring the school’s petty cash and internal account ledgers.
Assist with a range of administrative tasks vital to the operation of the school such as mail sorting, course registration, and assistance with special events.
Assists in other office duties as needed.
Skills:
Verbally articulate and polite.
Knowledge of filing systems.
Very good knowledge of MS Office and office equipment such as photocopier, scanner etc.
Detail oriented self starter with the ability to work as a team.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.
Prior clerical experience
High school degree or equivalent.
