Job Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Following all safety procedures
Measure Copper ratios, verify barrier testing, and evaluate wire filament integrity using chemical methods
Perform mechanical tests and product test measurements in liquid helium cryostat magnet.
Data entry and maintenance of quality records
Maintain magnet and laboratory, including supply ordering
Wire break analysis
Operate SEM and various other lab equipment Support Engineering in metallurgical, process, and product failure investigations. Other department projects as needed.
Job Requirements: (AS) 2-Year Technical Degree in Electronics, Electronics trade certificate, or equivalent military certification or work experience.
Along with:
High degree of manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
PC skills – MS Office applications.
Clear oral and written communication in English.
Organizational skills.
