    The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability by managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts and actively developing new business. The Sales Manager will report to and assist the Director of Sales with obtaining new business, attending trade shows and customer visits. This is a remote position, open to candidates within driving distance to Tamaqua, PA and Manchester, NJ.   

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Develop new business by seeking new customers for existing products while also working with R&D to develop new products and bring them to marker
    • Manage assigned Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts to drive growth and achieve profit margin goals 
    • Interact with current and potential customers as well as end-users to determine technical requirements for new applications, provide technical support, trouble shoot and resolve problems 
    • Manage forecasts and regularly communicate changes in forecast outlook 
    • Accurately enter information into Salesforce including contracts, leads, opportunities and quotes
    • Create and analyze reports from Salesforce and Excel as required 
    • Ability to travel (up to 50%) to meet with customers, attend tradeshows and conferences to gain market intelligence and understand customers' needs 
    • Additional duties and specialty projects as assigned

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Material Sciences or Metallurgy 
    • 2 - 5 years of sales experience, preferably in technical sales 
    • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
    • Strong time management and organization skills
    • MS Office knowledge/experience, including Outlook, Word and Excel 
    • Ability to travel up to 50%
