    We are actively seeking a talented Interior Designer III for immediate employment in our Roanoke, VA office.

    The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Responsible for initiating and developing design and construction document drawings through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project’s discipline team leads.
    • Under direct supervision, may complete design assignments of limited complexity.
    • Limited familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline.
    • Introduced to the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures.
    • Basic understanding of the purpose and use of vendor documents.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Requires general knowledge of design development, construction documents and Furniture Fixture & Equipment (FF&E) processes.
    • May hold pieces of project or have significant technical role, as a project lead; final authority usually rests with a more senior staff member or manager.
    • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills fostering positive work environment.
    • Outstanding design and graphic skills.
    • Possesses analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities.
    • Generally requires 5+ years of experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design required.
    • Proficient in Revit, AutoCad, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Limited familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline.
