Primary Responsibility:
- To run and facilitate proposal development, based on client feedback and key win themes for project pursuits.
- Facilitate contract and negotiation process for projects after selection.
- Serve as a commissioning subject matter expert, project manager and Client Coordinator for clients and projects.
- Ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed upon cost, quality, schedule and profit
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, testing and reporting.
- Initiates and leads all phases of comprehensive design through post-occupancy commissioning. Provide managerial direction and work assignments to commissioning engineers, commissioning specialists and other project team members.
- Develop and manage work plans and complete projects on time and within budget.
- Lead or contribute to commissioning proposal development, including technical approach and pricing.
- Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems.
- Manage project resources and subcontractors.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, testing and reporting.

Requirements:
- Subject matter expert in commissioning, retro-commissioning and/or energy related projects.
- Strong facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to develop business and establish relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage work plans, schedules and budgets and provide leadership to a diverse project team.
- Highly effective communicator with clear and concise writing and presentation skills.
- High level of attention to detail with an ability to self-QC work.
- Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- The ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change.
- Demonstrated success in project management.
- Understanding of site safety procedures, including electrical safety
- Certification in the Commissioning Process, as an Energy Manager, or LEED Accreditation a plus.
- Specific experience with combined heat and power/cogeneration a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Contractor License in California.
- Minimum 10 years of related commissioning experience.
- Excellent presentation skills necessary for running project meetings and marketing.
- Expert communicator; solid verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Effective negotiation and dispute resolution skills, analytical and decision-making.
