Our mission is to create timeless spaces with talented and good people by our side. We are currently experiencing exciting growth and are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our collaborative team.

    Job purpose

    This individual would be responsible for the creative development & execution of custom Interior Design projects and Furniture Design Packages. The Sr. Interior Designer would collaborate with developers, architects, contractors, homeowners and colleagues to create and manage all specification information through the selection process. In addition to creative talent, this job requires superior client and project management skills, and have a minimum of 8 years’ experience working directly with design clients and managing projects.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Manage, execute and successfully exceed client expectations
    • Collaborate with developers, architects and homeowners, all aspects of interiors to create a comprehensive design package for the client
    • Work within established cost parameters and allowances for interior finishes
    • Create, maintain & circulate accurate & up to date finish selection schedules
    • Research & provide specifications, lead times and installation information as it applies to materials
    • Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines,
    • Direct, manage and mentor colleagues
    • Perform design computations (take-offs, area calculations, pricing, etc.)
    • Place, manage, and track all project related orders
    • Prepare and maintain working binders, material boards, and digital presentations of Specification and Furnishings & Décor packages
    • Assist with the maintenance and organization of the Design Group’s library * Understanding cost parameters and implications for selections being made
    • Have the ability to provide sketches/interior CD elevations in AutoCAD and/or Revit
    • Be available to meet with clients on their individual time schedules
    • Develop interior design and furniture sales opportunities independently
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • B.A. in Interior Design
    • Highly creative skills with strong sense of design, color, and materials
    • Confidentially present design ideas & details professionally
    • Personable, communicative and well versed commercial and residential interior design.
    • Knowledge of design development and presentation documents
    • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, IVY, InDesign, and SketchUp
    • Capable of navigating and understanding Construction Document’s
    • Familiarity with multiple finish sources & furnishing / décor vendors
    • Ability to install design projects. This includes lifting, climbing, hanging, and agility to proficiently do tasks requested on job installations
    • Skillful self-time management with capability to multi-task and problem solve concurrently
    • Ability to delegate tasks, mentor, and direct numerous team members
    • Positive attitude, strong work-ethic & attention to detail
