    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

    • Team and project discipline leadership
    • Team member development
    • Participation in development of proposal response
    • Working knowledge of local and international codes, NEC, LEED, OSHPD standards
    • Development of system narratives (writing, organizing the document, develop concepts)
    • Ability to concisely express complex system solutions in very early design phases in order to share intent either internally for further development, or externally to assist design partners
    • CAD/BIM design
    • Project electrical systems design inter-disciplinary coordination lead, for coordination with other trades and consultants.
    • Review / Edit specifications
    • Review team member work for quality and recognition of training requirements
    • Interact and work with diverse set of clients and subcontractors
    • Ownership of team metrics (utilization, finances, performance reviews)
    • Recognized expert in technical leadership within their domain or specialty area, serving as the primary technical leader for their business area.
    • Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications to ensure LUXUS BUILD remains a leader in emerging technologies, delivery methods, funding mechanisms, geopolitical issues, and/or other industry drivers.
    • Uses creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented technical problems.
    • Provides technical expertise to region business line, market sector and business development teams, suggesting approaches and differentiators here applicable.
    • Provides visible industry and technical leadership within and outside of LUXUS BUILD.
    • Degree in engineering required.

    Minimum Requirements

    • BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
    • Professional Engineer Licensed/ Electrical
    • Expertise in Mission Critical and Advanced Technology markets
    • Documented experience with advanced design, and technically challenging design with high profile technology firms working to fast paced schedules
    • Experience with AutoCAD/Revit (Revit is preferred)
    • Experience with Design Build and other Alternative Delivery practices
    • Excellent communication skills: articulate, assertive and confident
    • Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills
    • Thrive as a leader in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
    • Enjoy developing innovative solutions to challenging opportunities
    • Have a high degree of integrity, professional ethics, respect and responsibility

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Publication of technical articles
    • Analyze equipment energy use for optimizing systems selection
    • LEED AP
    • Instrumentation and controls design/engineering experience
    • Experience in the following markets:
    • Corporate Commercial / Mixed Use
    • Healthcare
    • Data Centers/Mission Critical
