Please review the job description below and let us know if you have any questions we can answer for you.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Warehouse Order Selector</strong></p><ul><li>Warehouse Order Selectors are responsible for building customer orders in a timely and accurate fashion.</li><li>Selectors receive direction on the orders they are tasked with and are then responsible for physically lifting each case of product and stacking the product on a pallet.</li><li>The Warehouse selector is required to select customer pallets and operates a double pallet jack. A representative list of duties, responsibilities, and performance expectations is as follows:</li><li>Promote and practice company Value of safety -- always.</li><li>Relocate an average product case weight of approximately 20 pounds to 50 pounds from pallet to pallet.</li><li>You will be expected to maintain a competitive average throughput.</li><li>Throughput is defined as your total cases selected by the total hours worked.</li><li>You will be required to maintain an aggressive quality and accuracy standard to ensure that the customer is given the highest quality service.</li><li>Overtime and Holiday work is mandatory.</li><li>Must commit to a minimum of 6-8 weeks on every assignment</li><li>Vocollect, voice selection, RF scanner experience a plus</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Prior experience receiving or unloading in a warehouse or distribution setting or knowledge of logistics is preferred but not required. Experience operating powered warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts a plus.</li><li>Must be willing to travel to any of the warehouse locations for 6 week shifts at a time</li><li>Willingness to work 50 hours / week</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience using an electric pallet jack (Walkie Rider)</li><li>Experience working with RF scan and voice to pick</li><li>Previous experience working in a warehouse</li><li>Experience in a high volume picking warehouse which is considered 1,00 – 2,000 cases in a 12 hour shift</li><li>Must be willing to travel to any of the warehouse locations for 6 week shifts at a time</li><li>Willingness to work 50 hours / week</li><li>Ability to read, write and speak English</li><li>Basic math skills</li><li>must be able to lift cases by hand weighing from 25 to 95 pounds and can expect to handle between 50 and 200+ pallets</li><li>Handlers are expected to work productively and safely</li><li>Steel toed safety shoes are required</li><li>Must interact respectfully and courteously with co-workers, customers and vendors.</li><li>Handlers must have the ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat the majority of the work day.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li>$20 / hour</li><li>$40 a day paid in per diem</li><li>1.5 x overtime (OT) paid</li><li>Travel is paid for</li><li>Living accommodations paid for</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p>
