Boutique interiors firm in the Atlanta area seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead the design studio for the firm. This opportunity will manage, direct, and have a strong influence on the culture of the firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team through the interior design process from programming through construction documents
• Communicate design vision through images, renderings and concept drawings
• Project Manage design projects from initial meeting through installation
• Client liaison
• Develop project schedules and budgets
• Develop furniture packages, documentation, details, and specifications for small to mid-size projects
• Utilize FF&E specifications knowledge and abilities on projects
• You will report directly to the Principal

Qualifications

• 4-year Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
• 5+ years’ experience working on Higher Education, Library and or Civic sectors REQUIRED
• Strong furniture package, space planning new, reconfiguration, Project Management leadership
• Current experience managing design & installation team (team size 3-5 persons)
• Current FF&E specifications using contract furniture
• Strong creative aptitude with an attention to detail
• Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate and mentor staff, delegate work assignments and work well with others
• Working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite
• NCIDQ Certification (prepared to sit for exam within one year)

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual Base Salary $$55,000-70,000+ (Depends on experience, certifications and portfolio)
