    Your skill set:

    • Bring your in-depth knowledge and understanding of the relevant client business operations and issues in support of Financial Management program offices.
    • General Experience and Qualities:
      • Ability to multi-task and function in a fluid, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
      • Comfortable working both in teams and independently; organized; proactive and self-motivated.
      • Professional experience with high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); additional proficiency in Microsoft Visio desired.
      • Creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented; good communicator/ listener in-person and through available media (e.g., telephone, email, Skype).
      • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, to include factual accuracy and thoroughness of communication between clients and team members.
      • Experience working with government accounting and related systems is preferred.

    The ideal candidates:

      • Fifteen years of professional experience related to business, finance, and/or accounting.
        • Professional experience working with Working Capital Funds in the Department of Defense (preferred), or in commercial-type activities which establish standard rates and charges for supplies and services furnished to customers.
        • Knowledge of OMB Circular No. A-123, Management's Responsibility for Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control.
        • U.S. citizenship required and must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD security clearance.

    What you have done:

      • Experience documenting business processes, flowcharts, memorandums, standard operating procedures, or any other related process documentation.
        • Knowledge of finance/accounting or audit theory, concepts and generally accepted standards, principles, practices, methods and procedures, and their special application in federal government accounting.

    YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of full-time (excluding internships) experience providing accounting services to the Federal Government agencies (DoD experience is a plus) or Fortune 500 companies.

      • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business, Finance or Accounting from a college or university accredited by an organization approved by the U.S. Department of Education.

    ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATIONS ARE PREFERRED:

      • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
        • Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
