    FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT 

    Lynch Consultants, LLC has exciting career opportunities for candidates with assurance experience looking to join a premier consulting Firm.  Our Resource Advisory practice area is growing exponentially, and you have an opportunity to fill a key role in that growth. You will help us deliver quality assurance services to our clients and their stakeholders.  You will master the business processes and data flow to provide a truly exceptional experience for our clients. 

    Your key responsibilities:

    Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of the relevant client business operations and issues in support of Financial Management program offices.  

    Skills and attributes for success:

    • Experience developing and implementing Financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Federal Government requirements
    • Experience communicating complex Financial and audit related concepts to client leadership and the general workforce
    • Experience drafting or updating comprehensive process cycle memoranda (PCMs) covering the full spectrum of the enterprise's standard business processes
    • The ability to recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from analysis of financial processes
    • The ability to develop and perform budget and execution tasks
    • Expertise conducting PPBE activities
    • Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to client requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
    • Stay informed of current Federal developments relevant to the Agency mission

    To qualify for the role, you must have:

    • Minimum of 4 or more years of related work experience
    • DoD Secret Clearance
    • Knowledge of OMB A-11, A-123, and the DOD FMR
    • Knowledge of a Military Department or OSD Agency financial processes and systems
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Able to move within 12 months to the DC/Virginia Metro Region

    Preferred qualifications:

    • CGFM / CDFM
    • CPA or CIA is highly desirable
    • Experience with an IPA, Federal Agency, or major consulting firm.
