Job Description

We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence specialist to develop state of the art solutions for unsolved or frontier challenges in this domain, preferably with at least 2 years of previous experience, including previous Post-Doc, R&D, or industry positions. The candidate must have relevant experience in at least one of the following areas.

• Deep Learning and Neural Networks, such as detectors/classifiers, GAN, C-GANs, computer. vision solutions, and related domains.
• Experience of AI development for any of the following application domains: Computer vision, Medical Image processing, Geo-spatial Intelligence, or Signal Processing.
• Research in AI Explainability methods.
• Natural Language Processing (NLP) Applications.
• Programming and Software Engineering with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence algorithms and methods.

The candidate must be able to provide evidence of being either a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident at the time of application to meet contract requirements. The following additional qualifications are also very desirable and would help in differentiating candidates:

• Bachelor or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Math.
• Training and validation of models in Tensor Flow/Keras, or Pytorch for AI applications.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Expertise in programming, algorithm development, and sensor fusion.
• Proficiency with C and C++ to enable fluid communication with the Engineering team.
• Platform agnostic: should be able to work with Microsoft Windows, Linux, or MacOS.

Effective proposal and report writing are also an important aspect of the position. In addition to working with a highly capable team, qualified applicants will have the opportunity to interact with industrial and government customers and collaborators.
