  • Responsibilities

    Lyte is seeking a Vice President of Marketing , responsible for the development of the company's business-to-business marketing, lead generation, public relations, public affairs and communications strategy. 

    THIS ROLE WILL:

    • Support Sales and Business Development by driving the creation and evolution of sales and marketing collateral

    • Develop a world-class communications plan for Lyte, directly managing communications activities that promote, enhance, and protect the company's brand reputation 

    • Be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of marketing and public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership

    • Secure media and event appearances for Lyte executives

    • Build great relationships with relevant media

    • Advance the company's position with relevant constituents, as well as to drive broader awareness of the company

    • Budget for conferences, trade shows and other events 

    • Be responsible for varied and integrated marketing and communications initiatives, including corporate website, social media, newsletters and other online communications; media and public relations; trade shows, conferences and marketing

    • Executive manage the company's social responsibility agenda

    • Deliver transparency to all stakeholders on implementation, delivery, and operational excellence

    • Oversee development of all communications material including the shareholder reports, investor decks and updates, marketing collateral materials; manage relationships with associated vendors 

    • Recruit and manage appropriate Marketing and communications team to support the development and execution of the marketing and communications strategy.

    THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL: 

    • Demonstrate experience and leadership in managing comprehensive strategic marketing and communications, media relations, and marketing program to advance a company's mission and goals 
    • Have minimum 10 years' experience in a senior management role either in-house or with an agency 
    • Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in planning, writing, editing, and production of press releases, annual reports, marketing literature, and other publications and assets
    • Bring a minimum of 5 years' experience in developing and implementing social media strategies 
    • Demonstrate skill and comfort in successfully positioning subject matter with the media to achieve national recognition 
    • Be an innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output 
    • Have experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a team of marketing and communications specialists 
    • Possess superior management skills with an ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers 
    • Bring an ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs 
    • Be energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives 
    • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior executives, investors, board members, clients and staff 
    • Know how to hire and motivate a team, build a dynamic culture, and know how to successfully scale a global marcomm organization, combining first-hand knowledge of what marcomm at a $100MM company looks like with your execution chops to implement this vision.
