    The Opportunity:

    Lyte is looking for a Human Resource Generalist who will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including, but not limited to onboarding, employee relations, employee engagement initiatives, communications, managing HR programs and processes, and partnering with the PEO in payroll record keeping, employee data, employee changes and updates. 

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Manages all employee onboarding and offboarding initiatives
    • Develop and maintain job descriptions for all roles in the company
    • Manage the relationship with the PEO partner
    • Lead human resource programs including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
    • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and leaders
    • Supports leaders in employee performance meetings, terminations, and investigations
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred
    • At least 3-5 years of human resource generalist experience
    • SHRM-CP or PHR credentials preferred.
