    Job Description

    The Trucordia Mergers & Acquisitions team is seeking an M&A Development Representative that will support the team by managing outbound outreach efforts to potential acquisition targets. Similar to Sales Development (SDR), this role is responsible for initiating contact, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate records of prospect activity. Ideal candidates are confident communicators, highly organized, and comfortable handling a high volume of calls and emails. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role supporting strategic growth initiatives.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to business owners and executives of potential acquisition targets.
    • Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings for the M&A team.
    • Maintain and update CRM systems with prospect data, outreach status, and follow-up tasks.
    • Track and report on outreach performance metrics and engagement trends.
    • Support M&A team with basic research on target companies and industries.
    • Assist with drafting and sending outreach materials or templated communications;
    • Collaborate with M&A Analysts and leadership to prioritize target lists and adjust outreach strategies.
    • Provide administrative support for meetings, calendar coordination, and follow-ups as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 1+ years of experience in a sales support or business development role.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and managing follow-ups.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with M&A, private equity, or corporate development is a plus.
