Job Description
The M&A Financial Intern at Revenue Rocket is primarily charged with supporting Revenue Rocket buy and sell-side clients with financial analysis and due diligence required to facilitate mergers and acquisitions.
Internship Details:
· Suggested Start Date: Mid-May to early June, depending on class schedule. Opportunity to extend the internship into the school year
through part-time project work
· Compensation: Paid
· Hours: Up to 35 hours per week
Requirements:
· Actively pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Junior or Senior preferred)
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proven track record of delivering under tight deadlines
· Interest in Tech-focused M&A and financial modeling
Job Activities: ****Provide the financial horsepower to help get deals closed
· Provide buy-side clients with valuation and target/max financial acquisition capacity
· Prepare sell-side clients for acquisition: financial statement due diligence, QoE reviews, and recommend P&L and B/S improvement opportunities (identify likely buy-side issues)
· Correspond with clients to develop EBITDA models and cash-flow analysis
· Support valuation modeling for buy and sell-side clients
· Perform financial due diligence, develop EBITDA/QoE analysis on client financial statements
· Enhance and benchmark Revenue Rocket valuation models vs. competitors/marketplace and recommend process improvements
· Review and assess key assumptions used in financial modeling (Equity Premium, size premium, company beta, tax rates, WACC, etc.)
· Develop cash-flow models with IRR/payback outcomes to provide financial flow transparency
· Perform operational due diligence for buy-side clients to highlight acquisition risks
· Consolidate financial data for assimilation and analysis of other financial team members
· Manage and perform daily tasks as required by the Revenue Rocket CRM system
· Maintain and improve deal comps/historic deal data process
· Assist in development of sell-side marketing documents (CIM/OM)
· Aid and assist research team in lead development and strategy consulting
