    Advertising Account Coordinator – an entry-level position ideal for recent Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or Public Relations grads. Candidates with several years of administrative experience with transferable skills will also be considered.

    Advertising Account Coordinator Responsibilities

    • Serve as liaison between account executive, client, and media contacts
    • Coordinate all elements of advertising and marketing campaigns including digital, print, radio, TV, direct mail, on-site events, promotional items, in-store displays, commercial shoots, etc.
    • Handle multiple clients simultaneously
    • Prepare and maintain monthly budgets and calendars, which incorporate clients’ advertising plan
    • Prepare meeting materials for weekly face-to-face meetings with client. Submit pre-approval requests for all advertising elements including print ads, TV/radio scripts, direct mail, promotional materials, etc. and ensure compliance from all required parties
    • Organize, submit and track materials and documentation required by automotive manufacturers to ensure reimbursement of advertising dollars are approved and received
    • Review and proof all ads to ensure 100% accuracy

    Required work experience

    • 3+ years as Account Coordinator or similar administrative role

    Required Skills

    • Must be able to take direction and then work independently to complete assignments
    • Must be highly professional with excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
    • Exceptional administrative, organizational, and writing skills
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office, PowerPoint)
    • Must be able to learn new software programs

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
