UX/UI WEB DEVELOPER JOB DESCRIPTION

LOCATION: SUNNYVALE, CA (ON-SITE)

LENGTH: 12+ MONTHS

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Web Developer contractor will be responsible for mocking, coding, and publishing internal policy sites/help centers that describe our Client’s product policies

• Able to design and code internal help centers, websites, and reporting tools.

• Contribute to the design of useful, usable, and desirable user interfaces in a team environment.

• Create user-centered internal website & Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow

• Developer will support execution of policy/documentation changes needed across multiple products and launch the sites needed to host these new policies

• Will create internal tools to assist with policy research and drafting and assist in whatever other technical support tasks are necessary for policy workstreams

• Developer will work with Policy stakeholder(s) to keep the site up-to-date--Apply relevant quality, regulatory standards, and best practices for readability and User Experience

• Assist in other technical support tasks as needed e.g. managing knowledge management system patches & updates

  • Shell scripts, bash command line

  • devops, builds

  • http requests/ API requests

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering or equivalent

• You have 5+ years of industry experience as a Web Developer using HTML, Angular, SQL and Javascript

• You've built strong front-end development skills and have a strong UX background

• You have backend development skills

• You are experiment-driven and you have a collaborative mindset

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Internet and/or Content policy development

• Experience working with a broad array of cross-functional stakeholders

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
