We are looking for an experienced commercial/industrial painting and coatings Estimator & Project Manager to help manage existing clients and expand this division of our business from our corporate office in Lilburn, GA Job Requirements • Must be comfortable interacting with clients • Must have a working knowledge of painting and coating products, surface preparations and applications • Must be able to read drawings and interpret specifications • M&DK Contracting utilizes digital on-screen takeoff software • Determine scope of work from project drawings and specifications and/or field job walk • Estimate labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete a project • Produce written estimates for submission to customers • Produce and track project submittals through the approval process • Manage projects from start to finish with the help of Company Superintendents and site Foremen • Monitor and manage project costs to ensure the profitable completion of work • Price and negotiate change orders as necessary throughout the construction phase of the project • Work within a professional construction office work environment The ideal candidate would be a well-spoken self-starter, have at least 5 years of experience estimating and managing commercial and industrial painting and coating projects, and work well with office personnel, field management, and craft labor.
