Job Description
Summary
Set up and operate machinery such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and band saws. Work with precision instruments such as micrometers. They may also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Education and/or Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Knowledge required to perform this job includes mathematics; mechanical; production and processing; and design.
Reasoning Ability
Skills required to perform this job include operation monitoring; critical thinking; operation and control; active listening; coordination; monitoring; and blueprint reading comprehension.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wide range of temperatures, humid conditions, moving machinery, dust, fumes, gases, odors, vibrations and varying noise levels. Full-time position; may require overtime or shift work depending on production needs.
