    MAINTAIN CORE MORTGAGE LENDING SERVICING AND INTERFACE PLATFORM. 

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Maintain advanced knowledge of the following ECU systems
      • OSI, DNA
      • Lenderlink
      • C-View
      • Encompass Funding/Closing Module
      • Nautilus
    • Coordinate core system option settings
    • Responsible for maintaining system compliance components
    • Maintain both Test and Production environments
    • Act as Mortgage lead and product technical knowledge resource for new application implementation efforts and system upgrades
      • Review new application release notes and core system updates to determine lending area impact and required action
      • Develop plans to test business and functional processes during system development and new releases, as well as quality assurance testing
      • Coordinate with Department Managers to fully carry out testing plans
      • Catalog identified issues in test environment and work with service provider and IT to resolve prior to go-live
      • Develop and coordinate testing plan with Financial Services to ensure optimal impact in regard to general ledger processing
    • Manage onboarding interface (Lender Link) between mortgage loan origination system(s) and core
      • Implement and maintain lending interfaces to core
      • Identify interface capabilities and coordinate implementation
      • Manage users and roles
      • Manage conversion tables to sync up ECU products with settings in Lenderlink
      • Manage conversion tables in Lender Link for 3rd party partners such as appraisers, taxing authorities, insurance companies, etc
      • Review interface updates to determine lending area impact and required action
      • Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test interface upgrades
    • Routinely communicate with outside vendors in regard to new platforms, system enhancements, interfaces, special project implementations, troubleshooting issues, etc.
    • Facilitate the update and validation of rate calculation schedules in core system
    • Facilitate any required rate changes within core system
    • Implement new loan products and services
      • Analyze new product proposals to ensure proper functionality in core
      • Recommend any product changes that will enhance functionality in core
      • Coordinate with Financial Services to map new product to general ledger processing
      • Create product in test environment and facilitate testing plan
      • Create product in production environment
      • Monitor new product for quality assurance
    • Reporting
      • Expert knowledge of reporting resources available in core system
      • Create reports in C-View to assist Managers and staff in optimal use of core system functionality
      • Review daily lending reports, coordinate required action and identify and communicate training opportunities
      • Create reports at Management’s request
    • Create and manage lending Compass cases
    • Monitor and coordinate year-end mortgage lending tax reporting with IT
      • Review IRS instructions for 1098 reporting and confirm system capability to accommodate changes
      • Routine review of mortgage points for accuracy
      • Facilitate confirmation of accuracy for PMI and tax adjustments
      • Random review of actual 1098 forms
    • Ongoing analysis of lending servicing processes to ensure optimal use of system functionality
    • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
    • Perform ongoing analysis of system and product options to maximize efficiencies
    • Assist staff with questions/issues
    • Responsible for troubleshooting any issues with staff, IT, vendors, etc.
    • Coordinate and/or lead special projects.

     

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
