M/I FINANCIAL, the builder financing subsidiary of M/I Homes, is planning for that growth by offering:

• A structured 8 - 12-week PAID INTERNSHIP. (Scheduled time to meet your school schedule.)
• A program designed to introduce the selected candidate to the fundamentals of residential mortgage loan production.
• Hands-on experience in preparation for an exciting career in the new home financing industry.

INTERNS WILL:

• Gain experience and knowledge of the origination and processing of a residential mortgage loan for the purchase of a new home by assisting loan officers and processors with new loan inquires and loans in process.

• Learn to process all types of residential mortgage loans including FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgage loan applications.

• Assist loan officers and processors in coordinating the application review, gathering, and analyzing necessary documentation from applicant(s), credit bureaus, employers, and various creditors, submission for initial approval, and preparation of the loan file for final loan approval.

• By the end of the intern period, they will be able to fully assist in all origination and processing functions of a loan from prequalification through closing.

• A successful internship will allow the candidate to be immediately productive upon entering the mortgage loan business after graduation.
