    We are seeking to hire SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT to join our team based at our corporate headquarters located in Andover, MA, USA about 30 minutes north of Boston

     

    The SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT will be an active team member of Casa's cloud native/web-scale micro-services based 5G core product engineering team.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Provide 3GPP, ETSI, and relevant industry standard expertise and guidance to engineering development team in product and feature requirements and standards compliance, as the interface between engineering product team and CASA 3GPP standards team.
    • Assist PLM in RFI/RFP response in end-to-end network architecture, features, call flows and roadmaps.
    • Work with accounting team/PLM/SE provide technical expertise for regular communications/meetings with large operator’s network planning team, CTO office, and operational team for drafting and presenting product architecture and design, call flows, trial/deployment solution architect and design.
    • As interface between CASA 3GPP standard team and external customers for standard requirements, tracking latest standard release features, support mobile operator customers standardization process (i.e. drafting 3GPP specification CR/TR and push through operator’s design and solution into standards).
    • Work with CTO office/PLM for product/feature strategic planning, and push CASA’s agenda in working items standardization process in 3GPP release cycle. Draft patents for CASA innovation in solution, designing and implementation.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Master degree in computer science (PHD degree is a plus) in networking, software engineering, or related field.
    • Either 5+ years’ experience in mobile packet core product development or 2+ years as 3GPP standard engineer with expert level 3GPP standard knowledge in architecture, interface specifications and call flows
    • Excellent written and oral presentation skills for technical specifications in design, architecture, call flows.
    • Knowledge and experience in developing/deploying cloud native micro-services in Kubernetes is a plus.
    • Able to learn and follow new technologies, 3GPP and relevant industry standards quickly.
    • Able to work in a team oriented, fast-paced environment.
    • Problem solver – resourceful and able to figure things out.
    • Self-confident – express opinions effectively.
