    We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented professional to maintain our accounts payable information and assist with our cash receipts. This role will process vendor invoices, analyze expense reports, verifying account coding and receipts, reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor and employee related inquiries.  Additional responsibilities include assisting accounts receivable with posting daily deposits, providing information for month-end reconciliations, and assisting with 1099 preparation.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTION:

    • Accounts payable – manage the receipt, approval, account coding, and data entry of vendor invoices
    • Review employee expense reports and verify coding of expense line items
    • Point of contact for vendors and employees regarding payment status
    • Maintain proper documentation and organized vendor files
    • Assist account receivable with daily deposits and check entry
    • Other projects as assigned

    Required Skills

    • 3-5 years in a corporate accounts payable position
    • Associates Degree preferred
    • Knowledge and expertise with accounting software; Oracle-NetSuite preferred
    • Experience with Concur(expense reporting software) preferred
    • Ability to use with Excel and Word
    • Highly detail-oriented and strong organizational ability
    • Ability to work independently and professionally with vendors and employees
    • Dependability – reliable, responsible, and dependable to fulfill obligations
    • Strong communication skills
    • Analytical thinking – analyze information and use logic to address work related issues and problems
    • Ability to multitask and be flexible to support changing priorities and workload
    • Problem solving – identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
    • Time management – ensure deadlines are met
    • Active learning – understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
    • Complying with HIPAA regulations as well as Discovery’s HIPAA and Information Security policies and procedures, including required training and incident reporting.
