Ensure and manage various installations and repairs along with the inventory of shore cords, electrical distribution equipment and ships bonding system ventilation fans. Provide regular input to the team over task planning, execution, and follow-up to deliver safe and adequate power flow in all Rybovich facilities. Exhibit courtesy and professionalism when internal and external customers.
Required Skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain shore cords for yacht electrical connections
- Repair and maintain cooling towers and assorted pumps
- Repair and maintain electrical components of scissor lifts, fork lifts and cranes
- Repair and maintain portable electrical tools such as drills, saws and others.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
- Be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Able to work outside electrical, painting, routine maintenance etc.
- Be able to pick up 50lbs
SKILLS:
- Installation – Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or program equipment and meet specifications
- Reading Comprehension – Understand written sentences and communicate using the English language. Also able to read scamatics and various electrical diagrams
- Active Listening – Give full attention to what fellow employees and customers are saying without interrupting.
- Troubleshooting – Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
- Equipment Selection – Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed for a job
- Repairing – Repairing machines and systems using the proper tools and not requiring re-work.
Required Experience
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Trade school in electrical back ground or similar
- Must have H.S. diploma
- Clean driving record
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
It is required to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for several hours, visual acuity, talk, hear and listen, reach, stoop, crouch, grasp, finger, and push/pull, able to walk quickly to/from job locations up to 600 yards in distance, and climb ladders in a shipyard environment
