    We are seeking to hire a CORPORATE SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER (VBNG) to join our growing team based at our corporate headquarters in Andover, MA which is located about 30 minutes north of Boston, MA, USA.

     

    The Corporate Senior Systems Engineer will have significant impact as the technical voice of our customer ensuring the pre-sales development end of our product lifecycle management process and customer requirements are developed and road mapped in Casa Systems’ products involving PON, BNG and virtualization solutions. The role includes supporting customer trials, demonstrations, POCs, and third party IOT’s for Casa’s vBNG & PON products.

      

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • As subject matter expert in the areas of IP networks, PON, BNG, Linux and virtualization, partners with the sales team to drive orders by providing innovative solutions for new business.
    • Lead prioritization of technical requirements and champions resolution of solution / product gaps internally.
    • Design and implement demonstrations, POCs, 3rd party IOT’s for new business opportunities.
    • Perform hands-on technical lab customer trials along with pre-sales activities.
    • Develop strong technical relationships within the target accounts and account teams; serve as trusted adviser to account teams and customer base.
    • Provide highest level of quality pre-sales technical support.
    • Drive customer technical staff in line with product strategy.
    • Position product and solutions in favor of competitive products/solutions.
    • Create content for different architectures and product solutions (internal and external).
    • Drive customer requirements in product management and engineering.
    • Coordinate with other staff across functions, i.e., Product Management, Customer Support and Engineering, to resolve problems and manage customer requirements and projects.
    • Create and develop a proof of concept design, prototype, and deployment MOP documents.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or equivalent.
    • 5+ to 7 years of related experience in network engineering.
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Advanced IP internetworking knowledge and hands-on experience.
    • Detailed understanding of wireline access network architecture and BBF specifications.
    • Experience of testing some of BNG/PON/DSLAM access control and provisioning protocols, TCP/IP networking, RADIUS, DHCP, Portal, Diameter, 802.1x, L2TP, etc.
    • L3 network IP routing and signaling.
    • NFV architecture and implantation experience.
    • Good interpersonal skills and an excellent communicator.
    • Ability to understand and prioritize technical problems.
    • Self-starter and highly motivated.
    • Proficient with subscriber management systems and BNG solutions.
    • Working knowledge of software defined networking and virtualization technologies and architectures.
    • Willing and able to travel greater than 30% of the time to meet the demands of our growing business.
    • Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

    FOR THE CLINICAL EFFECTIVENESS AND DECISION SCIENCE PROGRAM (CEDS):

    • Demonstrated expertise in clinical trial design, execution and oversight and in research methods, which may be reflected by prior success in publishing first-authored scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals
    • Preference for topical expertise in the following areas: cancer, mental health, cardiovascular disease, multiple chronic conditions, studies comparing pharmacological therapeutics or surgical interventions

     

    FOR THE HEALTHCARE DELIVERY AND DISPARITIES RESEARCH PROGRAM (HDDR):

    • Demonstrated expertise in health systems and/or disparities research preferred, with experience in clinical trial design, execution, and research methods, which may be reflected by prior success in publishing first-authored scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals

     

    FOR BOTH PROGRAMS:

    • Preference for topical expertise in either intellectual and developmental disabilities or maternal mortality and morbidity
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to handle and manage multiple priorities effectively; must be adept at organizing time efficiently; high tolerance for ambiguity; ability to understand and work effectively with PCORI staff members
