RETENTION BONUS OF $1000 FOLLOWING 6 MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT!
We are expanding and looking to add CNC Operators to our 2nd shift! 2nd shift runs from 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM. This shift runs Monday - Friday. Daily OT is available upon manager approval; up to 10 hour work day.
REQUIREMENTS
- Responsible for quality parts produced on lathe and/or mill.
- Responsible for set up, operating controls, setting work holding fixtures, debarring, and inspection of quality parts.
- Ensure that every finished piece meets exacting specifications. This means that the operator must consistently check the finished product, which involves taking measurements.
- Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Detects equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities and reports all machine malfunctions to supervisor.
- Communicate with supervisor for assignments to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gage, indicators, and scales.
- Knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts, to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing for demands, and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Must possess basic math skills for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.
- Operator machinists must be able to stand for long periods.

SALARY INFO:
$20 - $23 / HR
