JOB OVERVIEW
Employment Specialists’ primary emphasis is on filling job orders and client management within the industry vertical of light industrial staffing. We regularly exercise discretionary judgment in administering Express systems and procedures in recruiting, hiring, and putting our associates on the job. Employment Specialists are expected to build and maintain a strong core of associates with a variety of job skills to fill job orders quickly and efficiently in Light Industrial, Administrative, Accounting and Skilled Trades staffing. Employment Specialists must use consultative sales techniques as they persistently make sales contacts. Strong phone and interpersonal skills are essential.
TECHNICAL ACUMEN
- Intermediate Computer Skills
- Proficiency in working with various systems and databases
- Effectively documenting all activities in our proprietary automated system
- Internet, search engines and social media savvy
- Active online presence
- Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Typing 40+ wpm (minimum)
DAY-TO-DAY
- Develop and provide consultation and training to hiring managers and partners throughout the search and selection process.
- Conduct applicant screenings with a sense of urgency and thoroughness
- Assists applicants with the online application system.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and employee data in established HR systems and files.
- Audit and maintain documents required for compliance with client requests.
- Ensures compliance with AA/EEO regulations, employment laws, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Manage multiple tasks and search assignments simultaneously without increased anxiety
- Address employee concerns including but not limited to payrates, assignments, expectations, policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication.

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree ( Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, etc. )
Sales, account management and customer service experience
2 years of recruiting/human resources experience preferred
Working knowledge of applicant tracking

- Competitive Base Salary + Monthly Commission – commensurate with experience
