Business Purpose/Need: 

The editorial intern will accelerate the team’s content strategy, helping:

• Launch a novel editorial franchise from start to finish
• Expand our freelancer pool by identifying and onboarding freelancer writers and reviewers
• Edit and publish original content, ensuring it adheres to the brand’s quality standards and voice
• Ideate unique content topics that align with our target audiences’ interests
• Author original pieces

By working with the VP and associate edit director, you’ll learn about elements of a successful content creation process — from conception to planning and execution — and gain insight into everyday editorial operations, strategy, data analytics, decision-making, and more.

Qualifications

This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a media, journalism, or health-communications focused field. Anyone who aspires to hold an editorial role at a publishing company post-graduation is encouraged to apply.
